NASA just looks more glamorous with every passing year.
At least the solid-waste part is still functioning. Gads, imagine how bad that would suck!

It would suck if an astronaut spaced some of his poo at a speed sufficient enough to escape the solar system...where it would then fall into a wormhole, be found near a machine planet, and be sent back to its Creator. I wouldn't want to merge with that.
I'm sure they'll pull over at the next gas station...
I thought NASA had purchased a russian toilet to be installed in Destiny or some other module, and that it was essentially a duplicate of the one on the russian side of the station?

Replacement parts are going to be sent up on Saturday's STS-124 mission.
