Well I guess this saves money on actually doing the shooting. I feel like i'm watching special animated webisodes.

Why did Peter do that? I think maybe it was supposed to seem like he had to but I don't think they animated that right.

I'm going to be pissed if all we get to see of Nimoy before the finale is this animated version.

Still, it's nice to hear him speaking his lines instead of Torv.

I don't understand why half the dream was "real" and the other half a cartoon. Nimoy didn't want to cone back, but make the whole dream a cartoon then.

Yeah, this flip-flopping of 'real' and 'cartoon' is jarring, to say the least.

I think it would've been funny if she had opened the door to find Cartoon-Belly standing in the hall.

Lance Reddick is hysterical here. This whole ep has been surreal.
The whole episode was like an acid trip (no pun intended on my user name!)

Broyes high was hilarious - him blowing bubbles in the background and no one noticing it strange or commenting on it :guffaw:

And of course Belly high would be animated! :p

The only thing that had me scratching my head (really, 'cos I kinda liked the whole 'trippy' feel to the ep) was the zombie doctors. WTF?

Poor. I'm trying to figure out what was the point of this "Bell possessing Olivia" diversion over the last few episodes and it looks like there was none other than to stall. The writers didn't take an opportunity to have Bell reveal some new insights about the machine, weiss, walternate.

We didn't get to see much in the way of Bell and Walter interaction. So why bring back Bell or Nimoy in such a lame fashion if not to at least do more with it than they did. The trip inside Olivia's head was dull--I've seen it done a thousand times. The cartoon stuff was just lame. Oh and we needed Broyles to have an acid trip. I had heard Jasika say this was her favorite episode but I don't know what she saw in it. It was awful. And the whole way that Olivia returned was anti-climatic dull and unimaginative.

This show can only do mythology stories well. Thankfully for them the next three episodes ought to be good. Certainly better than this years "Brown Betty".

I think the point was to show Olivia who will kill her and that person will be playing a part in the story of the next few episodes.

I have a theory Olivia will die and be replaced by Bolvia in the season finale. This way the new FBI agent they are supposed to introduce in the finale will take over until we figure out if Bolivia can be trusted.

What I liked:

I liked the tripping out on the government agents.

I liked the sudden animation and the neat trick that Olivia had in her home. I thought it was the actual Olivia and not the small kid.

I liked the sudden change of animation to real person to animation once again.

I liked animated Leonard Nimoy.

I also liked how Bell finally went away and the cost of it to poor Walter.

What I didn't like:

I guess the whole going into someone else's mind is old hat thanks to Inception. It is also rather difficult to determine what is real now given the sudden changes in the plot. That's my only complaint. It hasn't gotten to the level of Lost though.

I thought the animated characters didn't look very much like the actors, especially Nimoy.

Broyles blowing bubbles may be the highlight of the whole damn season.
