In the climactic conclusion of the Season 4 finale, the Fringe Team is pushed to their breaking point as they desperately attempt to prevent a catastrophic event that threatens the lives of everyone.

So here we are folks, at the end of the road for Season 4 but thankfully, not the end of the series. I am very glad that this won't be our final discussion and I hope what we get in the final 13 eps next season allows for this show to really go out in high style.

For now, this week's finale promises to give us some answers that have been a long time in coming. Hopefully this will give closure to the original timeline that most of us miss, while continuing to evolve this new one.

Either way, Nimoy's back, so I'm already happy!

:bolian:

Let the speculations begin!

With season two and three so focused on Walternate and his ilk, it was easy to forget season one's plot thread about the end of the world terrorism cult. But now Bell is back with a frieghter filled with all of the monsters we've seen over the course of the show. I wonder if Belly was always behind everything? Even in the previous reality? I may never answer all of my questions, but it's cool to see them address what I thought was a long forgotten direction for the show.

Other questions:

Who is the man destined to kill Olivia and why? What's his relationship to Bell's nanites (they shared the cross/X symbol)? Was he from Olivia's mind or Bell's? What did Belly do to Olivia before he was ambered in 2015? If Olivia has to die in every conceivable future, then does Bolivia have to die as well?

Oh, yeah. Nimoy's back! #%^* yeah!

You know it's funny, we're re-watching Part One and I've begun having the same thoughts about Bell also. I seriously doubt that this version of Belly had lymphoma; rather a good excuse if you just wanted to fake your own death, wouldn't you say? And if you're publicly dead, then you can go about setting your nefarious plans into motion with far greater ease.

Yeah, I'm ready for the big conclusion tomorrow. I have high hopes that Part II will blow us away.

That 2 minute promo was great; I'm even more convinced this ep will rock!

Unfortunately, I may not be around when the show starts, as I have a relative in the hospital and I'm not sure how long I'll be there this evening. I'll fall into the discussion if I get back after it starts.

If The Travelers are being affected, that means Bell is really changing the future.

Was that a clip from Terra Nova in the beginning?

What was the name of that show Nimoy narrated in the 70s? I was thinking that during the dinosaur scene.
