Olivia, Peter and Walter visit the town of Westfield to investigate a report of Fringe activity, and discover that they are trapped.

This sounds like old-school Fringe to me, at least in concept and hopefully the feel of the ep. TV.com gave it a rating of 8.3 and said it was 'great'.

We're now also officially in the second half of the season.

The preview gave me a bit of a season two vibe. Hope to enjoy it tomorrow. Not looking forward to the drought in March, though.

I have a feeling the Observers are involved in what's going on with Walter, Peter, and Olivia. Maybe this is their way of eliminating the Peter problem since I'm assuming they can't go erasing him again which requires an enormous amount of power from the entire collective of Observers. And maybe they're afraid that Peter will slip through it somehow like before.

I'm thinking twelve because the Observer who saved Peter in the original timeline is named September so I'm assuming the rest of the Observers are named after months as well.

True, because the one played by Peter Woodward was named August, but he's now dead. I think what I should've said is how many of them are there now? Have any others been taken out of the picture, or just August? Will September survive being shot?

I believe we haven't seen the last of September. Not by a last shot.

I also think Olivia is going to learn something big this episode which is going to set up next episode which I heard is going to be one of shocking revelations.

Cool. We're about due for a Big Reveal.

I'm still hoping we're going to get one more season, but my gut tells me otherwise. I just hope that Team Abrams can bring this to some form of satisfying conclusion if it is the end.

Unrelated, anyone just see a commercial for that movie Project X? I saw the trailer last week and I thought it looked pretty damn funny.
