Friends and colleagues

Thought it might be interesting to name other people that the crew have served with over the years and we've since met. I started thinking about this because of all the TNG characters we know more about Riker's previous commanding officers than any other character.

I forget her name. That officer Geordi served with on the Victory who was part of their team in Identity Crisis.

There was Capt. Maxwell who was O'Brian's former CO aboard the Rutledge in The Wounded. FOr that matter, an episode of DS9 featured a character named Boone, who he had served with on that same ship.

Picard's former crew on the Stargazer included Jack Crusher and a tactical officer named Vigo...and there was Marley, his old partner at the counting house.

Picard's academy friends, Cory and something with an M maybe, in "Tapestry"

Riker served with the guy we saw impersonated in "Arsenal of Freedom" and he may have served with the captain of the ship in "Unnatural Selection," because he said, "Captain [whatever] was my age."

Beverly interned under Dr. Quaice who we saw in the opening of "Remember Me."

Picard had worked with the Admiral in "Conspiracy" before, hadn't he, and though not a Starfleet officer, we met his mentor Professor Galen.

Though it's not the same, we met Troi's former case-study in Tam Elbrum.
