I would be more than honoured, brother.I very well may steal that.
By all means. Thanks greatly. If I could give you ten thumbs ups I would. And that is despite the fact I had my own idea for that thing. Yours fits better and matches my idea for a clipper. Bravo. May I steal as well? With credit, of course.

Nicely done @Atolm! I always love it when artists expand the design envelope of a preexisting idea. I know this is riffing on something onscreen, but you don’t remaster it as another mechanical bird. Thank you!
@aridas sofia, where can we see your stuff these days? I’ve been a fan of your work for along time. Still keep of the Tellarite arc ship, among others, in my personal head canon.![]()

Great to hear you are powering through issues, brother. Believe me, I totally understand as I am in a similar situation, and you will always have my support. If you can, just power through the crap with creativity. That is what I've been doing.I did dozens and dozens of other ships for the 50 for Fifty project until a few years ago, when the realization that I just couldn’t overcome the image hosting problem to my satisfaction undercut my ongoing enthusiasm for what we all must admit is an endeavor that will be of interest to a vanishing population. Not that level of interest matters to me that much, but it was the straw that broke the back, so to speak. I don’t want to distract further from the focus on Atolm’s amazing work though I will leave you with the knowledge that the Tellarite ark was followed by both a Tellarite battlecruiser and a destroyer from the Earth-Romulan War, and a Tellarite police cruiser and reflagged Coridan mining vessel from Journey to Babel. So, lots more Tellarite stuff as well as Andorian, Vulcan, and much much more. It will all either see the light of day at some point, or die with me when my progeny no doubt heave my leavings in a dumpster. Given an amazing run of health debacles over the last six months, my optimism that fate will be avoided has waned somewhat, though I am a forever optimist so, there is that.
Yeah, a few people have interpreted the image presented on screen as a side-view silhouette (I believe even Bernd on Ex Astris uses a side profile as his presentation as well). This is definitely not unreasonable, as the side profile is a common perspective in Trek (and other Sci Fi shows/movies) in showing movement. Not to distract from Atolm's great artwork in any way, but I've been working on what I interpreted as a possible real-world take on the Friday's Child scoutship, with the resources available at the time.
Since the Klingons were always supposed to be analogous to the Soviets, I thought that if the producers of TOS needed a quick and dirty model to represent a Klingon scoutship, then why not use a 1960's T62 Russian tank? I looked at my blown-up screencap of the scoutship and noticed a definite structure within the glowy light surrounding it. It almost resembled the top of a tank, so I came up with this:
