So I recently started watching Friday Night Lights on Amazon prime and i have to say for the most part I'm enjoying it.
Had a 3 day marathon on my days off and I'm midway through the second season.
Two things about this show drive me absolutely nuts.
1. The camera work.
For God's sake how hard is it to hold a camera still?
I get the fact you are trying to give me the feel of playing football in the football scenes but it is really necessary to shake the camera all over the place when two characters a sitting on a couch casually talking to each other?
2. Odd light flashing.
I've never seen anyone do this before and I really don't get the point but during scenes they have this flash of light like when someone opens a car door on a sunny day and you get that blinding reflective light.
The weird thing is they do it in the school halls, in the coach's office, the the interior home shots and so on, what is up with that?
