Smash has confidence issues as he works with Coach Taylor to prepare for college tryouts; Tami finds that the community cares more about a new screen on the field than education; Matt faces a tough decision about his grandmother's care.

Excellent once again. A lot of good stuff here. Grandma Sacracen's emotional scene with Matt, Matt and Julie, Tami's smackdown of Tyra, etc. Buddy's definitely back to being buddy and the issue of football over the school is something discussed in the original FNL book.

The Panthers win in another blowout! I'm amazed! Though the fact that anyone wants to replace Matt after the first two games is an absolute joke. The team put up 49 points of offense for God's sake!

I recall Buddy and Tim were friends last season but I can definitely see him not wanting his daughter to go out with a guy like Tim.

Average. though there were some really good moments. Julie and Matt talking about the car. Matt's grandmother saying what a good kid Matt is. I would have liked if Eric and Tami discussed the jumbo-tron a bit more. Tyra's hair looks worse every season. =(

still, an average episode of FNL is generally above average to just about every other show out there.

Average.

There was some cool stuff goin' on, but overall, it was kind of dull. I really could have done without Tara's story completely, and didn't care much for Riggins eatin' raw pigeon.

I understand why she wants the money to go to the school but Tami was foolish to use money specifically raised for something else.

The Tyra subplot is kind of stupid right now, with the vice principal who has it out for her and all (plus she could probably get a volleyball scholarship if they hadn't dropped that storyline). But ASB elections are strictly popularity contests anyway.

Also, isn't Smash's family poor? Walking on means having to pay.

My favorite bit of hypocracy has to be Tami getting upset with Tyra over using T&A to get elected. Tami is the most inappropriately dressed principal on television.

It was pretty good. I feel sorry for the quarterback. I would put the grandma in the nursing home. I know it is tough to do, but it will be a big relief off his shoulders. My grandfather had alzhemiers and it was tough putting him in a home, but they took real good care of him and it was a load off my mom's shoulders.

If I was Tami I would let them have their stupdi jumbo tron. She has got to realize that all those morons care about is football in that town, not education. She shoudl let them have it and let their kids grow up to be dumb.
