Fresh Prince of Bel Air actor in the augments ep

Was the actor who played Uncle Phil in the Fresh Prince of Bel Air in the Klingon Augments episode (playing the Klingon general)?

I was half expecting:

"I got in one little fight and my mom got scared and she said 'you're moving to your aunty and uncle in Q'onos'." lol lol

Ever since I became familiar with James Avery in the '80s (from the Ron Perlman/Linda Hamilton Beauty and the Beast TV series and his animation work in Ninja Turtles, Iron Man, etc.), I've been thinking he should play a Klingon. Back when I wrote a TNG spec script, I wrote one of its main Klingon guest characters with Avery in mind. So I was very pleased when he finally showed up as a Klingon on ENT.

He was great in the role. He even showed some of that great comedic timing when he ended the debate between Phlox and the Klingon doctor about the morality of infecting a live subject with the Augment's virus with a disrupter blast to the "live subject's" chest. Would certainly have liked to see more of his character in other episodes.
