All I can to that is...okay. I have a degree in English too, but I've also been around a lot of people who have used colloquialisms, slang, shorthand, and far worse to get their meanings across, and I learned not to get too hung up on that. It's one thing in a classroom or in a professional setting, but not much of a big deal on an internet message board...IMO. It tends to make you look petty at best, or a grammar cop at worst, so I avoid that.
- putting people on igno is childish
- also, i always wonder what's in the missing posts
- understood what i meant is the slippery slope (into oblivion) for any language
