Frank Frazetta Search

In the late 70's - early 80's while visiting a book store I saw a display of Frank Frazetta posters . I'd seen all the prints before except for one that I believe was titled " Yin - Yang " . It showed two demon-looking beings about to fight - one black and one white. If memory serves they were winged and were in the sky against a background of clouds . I've searched Frazetta websites and done Google and Bing image searches but have yet to see any sign of it , or even any mention it ever existed . Anybody else remember this print ? I thought I might be mistaken about the artist so I searched Boris Vallejo sites as well but nothing so far .

No , it was neither of those . The white and black demon things were humanoid and were in fighting stances facing each other...I think one was gripping the other's wrist and it looked like they were about to seriously throw down on each other . I appreciate the reply , nobody else here or in any other SF forum seems to have any clue what I'm talking about when it comes to this painting .

I'm not 100% familiar with Frazetta's work, but I can probably ask a few friends who are more knowledgeable than I am.

However, I did find this, called "Yin Yang - Of Joy and Sorrow" by Carrie E. Ott. Could it be the one you're thinking of? It seems similar to your description:

Here's another possibility: "Yin Yang" by Mel "Umbraja" G.:

Frazetta's art style is rather unmistakable. If he says it's Frazetta, then it's Frazetta. Though, I'm also not familiar with the particular piece that OP is describing.

If it was that long ago he saw it, could be the Hildebrandt brothers. Their stuff is a little more "normal" looking, warmer even.

The Wiki list of Frazetta's works doesn't list anything containing Yin and/or Yang. Could be another name.

I can't find anything, either. It must be another artist, like Frank Brunner or something.

I'm not a very good image finder, but looking a bit around I found that Frazetta actually made Battlestar Galactica look like Barbarella:

I had no idea :rommie:
