Since when is FOX the #1 network? All they have is American Idol and House.

Anyway... I want to check the Wanda Sykes show out. She's pretty funny.

Since when is FOX the #1 network?
I believe they've come in #1 in the 18-49 demo for the last five seasons.

Here are Fox's scripted primetime shows for next season in order of longevity:

One-hour

24 - 8th season
House - 6th season
Bones - 5th season
Dollhouse - 2nd season
Fringe - 2nd season
Lie to Me - 2nd season
Glee - 1st season
Human Target - 1st season
Past Life - 1st season

Half-hour

The Simpsons - 21st season
Family Guy - 8th season
American Dad - 5th season
'Til Death - 4th season
Brothers - 1st season
The Cleveland Show - 1st season
Sons of Tucson - 1st season

And here are the primetime scripted shows they canceled this season:

One-hour

Prison Break - 4 seasons
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - 2 seasons

Half-hour

King of the Hill - 13 seasons
Do Not Disturb - 1 season
Sit Down, Shut Up - 1 season

Bones/Fringe is a smart move.

And Sunday 'Animation Night' would look so much sweeter if they replaced Sons of Tucson with Futurama..... :(

With NBC's move to put Leno on every weeknight at 10:00, this would've been the perfect time for Fox to step up and expand their primetime programming into that timeslot. But the costs of doing so would be tough to pull off in the current economic climate.

FRINGE is going to get CREAMED Thursday's at 9PM. It's a waste of Joshua Jackson's talents and people will be watching GREY's & CSI instead.

AMERICAN DAD really isn't an early evening show...a lot of adult themes and inuendo.

Fringe will lose viewers compared to what it drew with AI as a lead-in, but it can still survive if it maintains enough of the lead-in audience from Bones and improves on the past performance of its new timeslot (which has been generally dismal).

They gave Fringe a very cushy lead-in this season to give it exposure and hopefully build some audience loyalty. Now they're going to see if it's strong enough to help the network on Thursday nights. That's how the game is played. They try to expand and strengthen nights where they're weak. They use their strong shows as lead-ins for new shows and then the new shows generally have to move to another timeslot and sink or swim.

^ Sounds like Sarah Connor fans at the beginning of this year.
Well, the "if it can maintain" part of the quotient is always a big "if". I'm just pointing out that there is a logic behind moves like this from the network's point of view, even though as fans we'd obviously rather have shows we like remain in safer timeslots.

American dies next midseason with it being at 7:30, not surprised I knew FOX wanted 100 then axe time. Dollhouse with Til Death as lead in should send the ratings down to 1.5 million, Joss write an ending. Personally if there serious about Dollhouse then reairing it over summer and then partner it up with Fringe. I would of done this...

FALL
MONDAY - Bones/House
TUESDAY - Fringe/Dollhouse
WENDESDAY - SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE Performance Show
THURDAY - Lie To Me/SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE Results Show
FRIDAY - Glee/Brothers/Til Death
SAT - WHO CARES
SUN - The OT/The Simpsons/American Dad/Family Guy/Cleveland Show

MIDSEASON
MONDAY - House/24
TUESDAY - American Idol/Fringe
WENDESDAY - American Idol Result Show/Lie To Me
THURDAY - Bones/Human Target
FRIDAY - Past Life (Glee in Spring)/Brothers/Til Death
SAT - WHO CARES
SUN - Repeat/SONS OF TUCSON/The Simpsons/American Dad/Family Guy/Cleveland Show

I would keep DH at 13 episodes to keep budget down and whats point of airing a original FOX show at 7:30 it won't work.

To be honest I would get a deal after American Dad 5th season in the 2010/2011 season to air only half seasons and bring back Futrama for half seasons too so one for faland one for midseason.

Fringe's move is worrisome. American Dad probably won't be around too much longer at that time.

I think FRINGE could kill CSI which has loss so much of its demo and Greys will lose younger viewers too but I will admit major gamble to put it up against those two, it could backfire.

oh and about FOX number 1 network...it won both viewers & demo in 2007/2008 and this year like last few won most watched in demo.

OMG, no Sit Down, Shut-up? I was looking forward to avoiding that series for another year.

So basically, I'll be watching The Simpsons...and maybe Family Guy...maybe.
