Forward Swept Wing K'Tinga Request

Starscape,

I have an idea. Take the warp-nacelle, okay. Just the outline. With 0% of the length being the front and 100% being the absolute aft end, leave the depth/height of the nacelle from the 33% point to the 67% point, and reduce the depth/height of the nacelle forward and aft of those points by 25%.

The idea is to produce a nacelle that is more streamlined looking...

Here's a first pass at the side view with standard k't'inga type nacelles:

and with the nacelle modification:

They're present now. Honestly I think the original K'Tinga's nacelles were better over these.

Still I'm thinking of some kind of nacelle modification. I think I can draw something up

No problem, I backed up the original before I changed it. ;)

How about just making the nacelles thinner. For example, here they are 25% thinner:

I think the original thickness was fine. What I'm thinking of is instead of having the rear part of the nacelle bulge out like that, to instead have it blend more seamlessly into the rest of the nacelle.

Starscape,

You know how the aft part of the nacelle kind of bulges out from the rest of the nacelle? Imagine if it didn't bulge out but the aft part of the nacelle...

I'm pretty sure I can draw that one out if you don't know what I mean

Like one of these versions, perhaps?

Here's an update. The nacelles have been changed as requested (on both views) and I've started adding some detail:

Starscape,

Now that's a bad-ass nacelle!

As for the grille-details, I'd hold off of that so far. I want to use lower surface-detail similar to Starfleet designs. More clean-cut.

More curvature in which direction? Do you mean on the side view so that the nacelles are moved further away from the main body?

I think the position of the nacelles is good as it stands, but maybe the pylons could be shorter to give a greater down-ward curvature of the wings.
