She was hot once she got a decent hairstyle.
I thought she looked horrible in the first few seasons with her manly short haircut and that awful uniform with the big shoulderpads. Her look and the way she acted so aggressive and shrill all the time were the reasons I despised her for most of seasons 1-3.
I'm so glad in season 4 she started having a nicer uniform and the longer/ more-feminine hairstyle. Once that happened and the writers let the character be a little warmer and smile more, she became a lot more appealing (especially when she became friends with Sisko). I think the first time I actually liked her was in "Starship Down" when he gave her a baseball cap and she put it on and smiled. It's a good thing she started actually showing some femininity because at the beginning of the series I just wanted her to die!
I haven't seen season 7 yet, but judging by that picture, it looks like a time where she continued to improve from her wretched look in the early years of DS9.

I literally laughed out loud at this. Of all the things to be remembered for in life! 
I never saw the big deal about that Borg chick in Voyager, but I've always paid more attention to face than body, and I guess a lot of her popularity came from her figure.
TOTALLY AGREE !!!! I have posted something to this effect, it's cool to see others agree that the SF uniform suited the Major just fine. Also loved the new hairstyle they gave her...

Loved her in the Mirror Universe outfits. The crazed whorishness didn't hurt either.
Always thought she was one of the hotter girls in Star Trek. Others might be more beautiful or more alluring, but she is scorching. Even her bitchiness only add to that in my opinion. And, truth to be told, she do have one hell of an ass.
Funny thing, looking at the series I always thought that Nana was quite petite, but when I saw her in person I was surprised to see she was definitively not on the short side. They were the other guys that were just so fucking tall.
