No Joke...this is a serious question.
All the movies you see like the one with the rogue airplane with Jessica Biel have stunningly hot female members of military that look amazing.

How common is it to see extremely attractive women as either officers or enlisted personal. I mean women that look like models...well they ususally are actual models or whatever sort of career that they can use their beauty towards...you don't think about someone that looks like Jessica Biel field stripping a rifle or working on the engine of a fighter jet...at least not typically.

well anyone in the military is going to be in good shape, so unless they have a really ugly face, I assume there are a few fairly good looking women in the military, plus the uniform is always fun.

In my 22 years...

Thousands...

Just like in every other corporate or factory environment.

"Hot" also depends on the preferences of those individuals that decide what is "Hot" to them.

There was once a helicopter mechanic that rode a kick start home built Harley. To the other Harley and Bike riders, she was pretty darn "Hot". Especially to her Husband.
:bolian:

In my experience in the Navy, most of the girls were... ummm... substandard.

On the USS Nimitz between 1995 and 1999, the hottest girls worked in the Air Wing, and the single hottest girl on the ship was in the lone USMC squadron in our Air Wing.

Just for context, these "hot girls" I am mentioning would be considered "average" by civilian standards.

Well.. i guess when you're out for months on sea amongst guys even "substandard" girls tend to look hot and the average to good looking women approach supermodel status

Well there's "Hollywood hot" and there's "normal hot." Of course the doctors, lawyers, cops, military, etc. are all going to look like Jessica Biel in the movies and on TV.

Ummmm.... that's not really true.

A minimum standard has to be met of course, but some army desk clerk or someone else in a relatively sedentary position is not required to be in the same condition as an infantryman. There aren't any really FAT people in the military, but there are plenty of relatively chubby people.

I'd say the ratio of "good looking" to "bad looking" people in the military wouldn't be much different in or outside of the service, but I'd guess the average military person would have a better body, by virtue of eliminating all of the severely overweight people.

I'm Army and honestly there's very few 'hot' women in uniform....of course average women become hot when compared with their peers.

Over the years most of the few 'hotties' I met turned out to be ring knockers. They had brains and beauty but were untouchable.

When I was on the Enterprise, the average female aboard (to the extent that I noticed) seemed to be of somewhat greater than usual attractiveness. There were also more than a few persons who were considered very attractive (and none were of the particularly made-up type).

It's been my impression that females in the Navy (i.e. junior female personnel) seem to be considered more attractive, on average, than those in the Army or Marines. I'd agree with the assessment, actually.

When I was on shore duty in San Diego in '96-'98, I noticed it's a crapshoot, just like everywhere else. Some tend to be in shape, but they can be kind of plain looking. But I'd say most Navy women I worked with were butch. I will say that officers tended to be hotter than enlisted girls.

Also, isolation from civilization with a few women will give you beer goggles. You will think the ugly ones are way hot until you get back home and go to a mall or the beach and see true hotties.

During my time in the Navy, there were only a handful of cute girls on the base. I don't think I'd ever met any hotties in the Navy.

The Air Force on the other hand had far more cute to hot women.

As far as ratios, I'd say that the Navy had 1 cuttie in every 20 females. They often times ended up pregnant... actually probably 15 of the said 20 females ended up pregnant.

Ahh... the Navy... Good time... Good times...

Most of the women I ever saw during my time in the Navy were either issued "Battleship Hips" or were homely looking. One or two enlisted were really cute, and many of the female officers were very cute. This was from 87-94.

Contrary to what some people are saying here, just because someone is in the military does not mean he/she is in shape or not fat. I witnessed many a man get sent off to the "Fat Farm" during my stint in the Navy. The only branch that didn't have any fat people was the Marine Corps. They exercise most every day. The branch of service that had the obesity problem was the Army.
