For anyone following "Fables" and the mini-series

the G-man

Rear Admiral
Rear Admiral
Quick question. The current Cinderella mini has
Dorothy of the Wizard of Oz
as a vicious assassin for hire who had operated as such for decades.

But, for the life of me, I thought an early issue of the Jack of Fables series had
Dorothy trapped as a prisoner of Mr. Revise and eager to try out the Tin Woodsmans "new" appendages
for much of the same time period.

Am I remember the Jack of Fables story wrong or is there a continuity error here?

No error there.

Roberson & Willingham said that there is more to be revealed, but basically, after
Cindy believed she was dead, she was captured by Revise, and "sanitized" via the Memory Hole, the effects of it banishing after she read her own story during the Books of War storyline.

There is a reference in one of the latest issue of JoF when the Tin Man & the Lion (set in some years down the road concerning the regular Fables title) are talking and saying that Dorothy was becoming creepy or dark after escaping the Golden Boughs, IIRC.

Willingham also talked about the
glass cat
being in both Cinderella & Fables 101, and said that it was all planned, and it will be revealed in time exactly how they match up.

Okay I haven't been here in a while, but I have to ask is this the same Dorothy we saw at the Golden boughs and if not, (because it really doesn't look like it) then will we ever get an explanation for multiple incarnations of the same Fable?

It's the same character. Revise did lots of revising in his time. Keep reading.

How many of you have seen that Bungle, the Glass Cat, also appears in the first issue of the second Cinderella miniseries, out yesterday?

Same Dorothy. Same glass cat. You have to pay attention to the dates of appearances. It all fits (eventually) and yes, planned.

Thanks for the links everybody.

I'll believe it lines up when I see it but it's good to know that they're going to at least attempt to address it.
