Focused Ultrasound Forcefields & Plasma Weapons

Both ultrasound and infrasound can cause dizziness, nausea, internal bleeding and other nasty effects, ultimately leading to death, and so can be and have been weaponized. But for some kind of force field like what you're talking about, some kind of Ion-acoustic effect would be need to be used, but I doubt it could work without enormous power consumption?

Seeing a prototype or engineering study model does not mean something is deployed in the field.

You didn't answer my questions. How come you get to ask all the questions? We demand answers! What is sound, and how could this sound of which you speak act as a container or conduit of plasma? Explain!

The sound beams would create a barrier of travelling vibrating air molecules, the superheated gas (plasma) would hit these travelling vibrating air molecules and will bounce off because the travelling vibrating air molecules will be moving faster (at the speed of sound) than the plasma bolt which will will cause a bounce effect.

...and what's to keep the plasma from rending said air molecules of your tube of sound to itty bitty bits?

The air molecules are in constant motion and molecules will never be in the same place all the time. They won't be around long enough to be effected by the plasma. We're talking about seriously powerful focused beam of sound here.

You seem to be thinking of extremely hot high energy plasmas, but there are low energy plasmas as well, our atmosphere for example.

This is like building a high pressure water pipe out of ice.
