What if you intemtionally wear a particular piece of clothing because you know it always gets compliments?

People wear nice clothes for various reasons other than to solicit compliments. They're going to a wedding (or a funeral), they have a job interview, they're going out with friends, etc. I'm sure the intention to receive compliments is there somewhere, but it's secondary.

The only thing I wear specifically to get people's reactions is my name tag at work.

I got ahold of some of those "HELLO, MY NAME IS" stickers and I wrote 'Inigo Montoya, you killed my father, prepare to die' on it.

Customers go crazy over it. I've had people take my picture with the damn thing.
