Flat Earther to Launch Rocket Proving Earth is not Round

I wonder if people helping him will now face any charges as the launch could have been illegal. That's what I've read online.

You know, people who think they’re more clever than they really are and making dumb jokes at the expense of a person losing his life, no matter how it happened, is really quite disturbing. Apparently good taste went out of style with the advent of the internet.

I've consistently believed that the whole purpose of the FES is to have an excuse for people to get together and drink while laughing at the people who believe that THEY believe the Earth is flat. I'm not sure who gets the last laugh in this case.

Making jokes about a man who just died. Disgusting.

He died doing what he loved. Slamming a round Earth.

I hear his followers are in flat-out denial. They're really crashing right now. This whole thing has slammed them.

(but in a serious note, I wonder how many of them are blaming a conspiracy and tampering?)

To me it's tragic if you're minding your own business and ding what you're supposed to be doing and you get killed (a car swerves into you, etc.), however, if you initiate what everybody (in the general sense) and their grandmother knows is going to lead to your foregone conclusion of untimely death, it's stupidity.

To slightly re-word an old joke:

I wondered why the ground was getting closer, then it hit me.

Remember the whale from Hitch Hikers Guide To The Galaxy who spontaneously popped into existence over a planet, and was falling.
