Yes! but 1800 ft is far too low to prove that the earth is flat like a frisbee...for Pete's sake , there are mountains far higher in California...seems like a whole lot of wasted effort that would prove nothing.. Dude, get on an airliner, international flights go much higher than that, and the curvature of the Earth is just discernible form that altitude..and it probably cost less than building a junky steam powered rocket that pops one up only a bit higher than the Freedom tower..

    Moron..

    OK video........

    Goodness me he's mad alright.

Next he wants to launch a rockoon.

This isn't so much about proving the Earth is flat then about getting suckers to fund your hobby

You think that's it? He really just wanted to shoot himself up in a rocket for kicks and the whole flat earth thing was a scam?

Not a scam but a nice way to get his rocketry funded.

    A question to Flat Earthers.

If they pose that the Earth is flat then why is there a curved shadow on the Moon sometimes?

Wouldn't a flat Earth create a straight line at the edge of the shadow seeing as how light would not curve around a flat object in circular shape?

I think we're wasting our breath. If the fact that anyone with a few thousand bucks can circumnavigate the globe over the course of a weekend doesn't prove the earth is round, I'm not sure anything can.

Let's do this... Did you know there are Hollow Earthers too as well as Flath Earthers, and I bet they'd chip in money for an expedition. We need a giant drill thing with Victorian wood paneling inside and lots of dials and switches.
