The big monster looked like a plucked chicken. Overall, it may not have been great, but it still wasn't really horrible, either. A fun way to pass the time.
Turns out the T-Rex's most direct descendant today is the humble chicken, so that makes perfect sense.
What I couldn't figure out was: huge-ass predators like that (and there were at least 3 or 4 individual ones shown in one not-too-large area of forest) would have required vast herds of herbivores as prey. Where were the brontosaurus analogues? Or did they just hang out waiting for dinner to arrive from alternate dimensions?
John Rhys-Davies really needs to avoid sliding across alternate Earths...
And how were the lights still on when only a few rooms were transported over?
