Y: The Last Man by Vaughn would also make for some good TV.

Y: The Last Man is going to become a movie:

In an interview with the USA Today about the last issue of Pia Guerra and Brian K. Vaughan's "Y: The Last Man," the director of the comic's upcoming adaptation, D.J. Caruso (Disturbia, upcoming Eagle Eye), says it might become a trilogy of films:

Caruso says he has had "preliminary discussions" with Shia LaBeouf to play Yorick.

"For me, thematically, the most important thing and the reason I want to do this is … I don't want to say it's the end of the innocence, but it's actually a man-child who has to become a real man now," Caruso says. "I think it's a really simple, beautiful theme, but at the same time, the movie's really pop-culture entertainment."

Y: The Last Man To Become A Trilogy?

The Punisher

I hope you are referring to Garth Ennis' Punisher right? :) On a side note I don't understand why the movie just couldn't take Issue #1 of Punisher Max and make that.

Oh and I hope that Shia LaBeouf isn't going to be Yorrick. I don't think he has the mental capacity to realize what Y the Last is about.

He has the mental capacity, and he 's the 'It Guy' so yeah, he's Yorrick

The Green Hornet did not originate as a comic book, but it has been published as one. I think it would be perfectly viable as a TV series, as it was during the 1960's.

The Green Hornet is getting another movie, fairly high budget even apparently.

Seems some have missed the thread we have about this, granted there hasn't been any new news in a few months. Still, for those new to the idea of a new Green Hornet this thread has pics, casting and other GH news.

As for my TV-live action choices.
BLADE - the Spike one was really coming into its own and he deserves another chance.
STARMAN - the Robinson penned series was more drama than heroics and could work well.
Y the Last Man - yes its on the movie track but this is a wish list, right?
Man-Thing - hey, Swamp Thing worked on USA network for 3yrs so I want Marvel's muck man. Is syndication an option?
Green Arrow - its the most obvious Smallville spinoff opportunity, JSA would have too many logistics and effects that cost $$$.

My list (all live-action shows for cable and/or first-run syndication):

1. Ghost (Dark Horse Comics)
2. Silver Sable & The Wild Pack (Marvel Comics)
3. Negation (CrossGen Comics/Disney)
4. Hunter Killer (Top Cow/Image Comics)
5. Sigil (CrossGen Comics/Disney)

Richie Rich
Archie
Little Lulu
Andy Capp
B.C.

Wait... I don't know anything about comics... please disregard...

I don't think any comics would be better as tv shows, but the best comics would be fun to see on the small screen.
