I DVR'd it in HD the other night, looks great, but the whole zero gravity scene is just SO boring, I can't believe they couldn't think of a more action-packed concept for that part of the movie.... what a snooze-fest!

I think that scene is really suspenseful. It reminds me of 2001.

That sequence is great. It's something different for Trek. What I don't like is how slow everyone moves. You'd think by that time period, we'd have space suits that would allow for better movement in space.

You have 2 HDTVs and no HD package? Definitely not an acceptable situation.

It's definitely worth the upgrade. DirecTV HD package is great, over 70 HD channels and growing every day. And there is an amazing difference in picture quality vs the SD channels. Once your wife sees it she wouldn't want to go back to the non-HD service.
