First Black widow pics from Iron Man II

New pic

Nice. It has a 'wallpaper' like quality to it. I'll try it out on my desktop.

The armor might take some getting used too, it looks a lot smoother than the IMI armor. Then again, we've yet to see the helmet.

It's a photoshop of the CG armor. Also, according to this on-set photo, it's an earlier version of the armor, which explains the cover's shit texturing and shaders.

Scarlett looks okay and hot, though the proof is in the celluloid, which we don't get to see until May '10.

Personally, I'm on the fence about this version of Whiplash, though Mickey Botox's casting makes a bit more sense given the backstory. He's supposed to be a hideous monster!

While the idea of combining Crimson Dynamo and Blacklash sounds awesome, I wasn't expecting them to give us a pudding-faced muscleman in metal shoulder pads and a jockstrap, though I'd be willing to bet that he'll probably "improve" his suit over the course of the film to something that resembles Dynamo more than it does one of the Hunters from The Running Man.

Favreau knows us too well to be that lame, especially after his mishandling of Iron Monger's final (and first) minutes.

P.S.: I'm kinda annoyed that they're stripping down the suit that much for the live-action scenes. You're telling me they still can't figure out how to make him sit in it?

She looks like she could have played Pepper Potts.

As for Whiplash, I'm genuinely surprised that he wasn't Titanium Man. Boris Bullski was supposed to be this huge muscleman who ended up hideous due to all the bio-enhancements he performed on himself to up his Titanium Man power.

Funny, the quality of the pic of her crawling around makes it look more like a mop-wig but the above picture of her as an assistant is a good dye job (if it is).

Good thing Iron Man isn't a porno flick or else they'd have to make sure that she was a redhead all over

Am I the only one who thinks this but... after lookin' at captcalhoun's avatar that Rachel Nichols would make a pretty good Bethany Cabe too? Seems like Tony likes surrounding himself with hot redheads. Reason I bring up Beth Cabe, is because later on she becomes Stark's head of security and wears a nice skintight blue and white uniform ;)

One thing the Iron Man movies have done right is worry about getting people who can actually ACT as well as look the part they are supposed to be playing.

Yeah that IS one saving grace about this movie franchise, they are pretty good on casting the right actors for the right roles. And I think Don Cheadle will be an interesting Rhodey, probably even better choice than Terrance Howard was. I never could get past Howard's voice - too falsetto for Rhodey who should be a bit more bass/barritone. I like the more Air Force, less Marine Rhodey, makes him a more interesting character instead of just a Marine grunt who became a Merc' and then Tony's "buddy" and pilot. Rhodey is an MIT grad as well as a Colonel, which is pretty cool, so he's got some brains not just 'street smarts'.

Now as for Black Widow, Natasha, I do hope she eventually turns into a good girl and they don't just have her cast as the femme fatale forever. I'm hoping she pops up again in IM3 and Avengers as a SHIELD agent or something.

I'm wondering, are they going to use Hawkeye in the Avengers movie? Or will it be the original line-up?

I am *so* excited about Don Cheadle being in this. Every time I watch Iron Man, I become more and more annoyed by Terence Howard... To me he seems a bit too much like the cliche token black best friend; I think Cheadle will lend a bit more gravitas to the character and make me want to actually care about the character....

Joy

Scarlett looks divine, as usual, but I'm having a hard time picturing her as Russian, with an accent, and with her look.

Yep, he's one of the villains of the movie: Whiplash. I'd rather he was Titanium Man, but nothing's wrong with upgrading a bad villain into a good one.

Justin Hammer is supposed to be the real villain of the movie though.

no idea. only definites are IM, Cap, Thor and Fury. persistant rumours are suggesting the Hulk either as a hero or the 'villain'.

i'd hope they do use Hawkeye and Black Widow...
