FireFox Ver 3 - How to go back?

I installed version 3.0 of Firefox this morning; however, I am not certain if it is the program or an issue with my new GSM Internet set-up, but this thing has been dragging all day. I would like to return to the previous version I was running but do not know how to go back.

You should be able to just download Firefox 2, uninstall 3, then install 2:
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html

I installed FF 3 on my 10.3.9 Mac without reading that it needs 10.4 or higher, so I switched back to FF 2 on it.

OK. I save all set-up files of specific programs in a separate folder in the event I ever need to go back. I did not know if Firefox had some type of "Go Back" feature or if I could overlay Version 3 with Version 2.
