Trying a new image host via Bluesky this week since Imgur is still blocked in the UK.

It’s actually super simple! I open up the images I wanna link in the desktop version of Bluesky, right click to copy the image link, and use that for the image embed.
I post my art on Bluesky anyways, so this is killing two birds with one stone.

Drawing 694 / 2025 Artwork 96: Yamada from Smoking Behind the Supermarket with You. As I was finishing the initial pencil sketch for this one, something told me it would look better if I didn't ink it and just finished it with my old pencil set. So, that's just what I did.

I agree, I think that first drawing works better in pencil than it would in marker.
Probably both, just to keep her enemies off-guard.
Right? Some part of me instinctively knew that if I "finished" it with my usual methods, I'd ruin it.
Maybe it's just because she's smoking, but the picture gives me kind of a "film noir" vibe that the pencil work brings out. Nice work.

EVA-Trek Production Update:
It's been a bit since I last reported on where things are at for season 3. At this point, I've hit second drafts for the first six episodes of season 3. First drafts are done through episode 10. Today, I'll get started on the season finale's script, with hopes that it'll be completed by next week! The main bulk of production for season 3 should be out of the way by Christmas.
I'm planning on announcing the premiere date for the season later this month, so stay tuned!
This upcoming season includes the milestone fiftieth episode for the series. I never thought I would actually hit that many when I was working on the initial concepts during early development on the series just four years ago. At this point, there's more EVA-Trek than Prodigy, Lower Decks, and Strange New Worlds. Absolutely fucking wild.
And as a little teaser of things to come, here's an excerpt from an upcoming episode...

As I'd hoped, I got the rest of season three's scripts revised to their second drafts this week, which means the hardest part of pre-production is completed! All that's left is the final draft and spot revisions before the premiere.
Since I'm so far ahead on production of season three, I'm going to take advantage of the holiday season to start breaking stories for season four about six months ahead of schedule. These ten-episode seasons are so much less stressful to break and write, I must say.
