Well, Voyager was on UPN, so it was always on.

But DS9 was syndicated, I believe, so who knew where it would end up? In Chicago, it was on WGN and aired Saturday or Sunday afternoons. Very random.

I think we only seen on Sky when it was first aired in the UK

I guess that I just have to buy the series on DVD in order to watch it from beginning to end and see what it's really like.

It's a good show. I'd give it a shot. The first couple of seasons are sucky, but once the war arcs start it gets much better. Not better then Voyager though.

That was DS9's problem for me. It was syndicated and the channel airing it must have been doing so to fill air time, and that's about it. They did not really care about it.
