Here, at long last, the May poll (?) for Vektor's challenge to create a Star Trek item, ship or other construction inspired by something in our own real world; we've probably done this a thousand times with many of the things that we post here, without even knowing it - this time, Vektor wanted us to be aware of our inspiration,and to share it with the class .

BK613 for me! I just want to know if the 'screen' on the top of the shuttle shows its registry, when viewed from the upper level of the flight deck ...

This one could be tough - it looks like we have a three-way tie and only a half-hour to go!
