FINAL POLL - October Challenge - Scare Trek!

There's no escaping the maws of the aliens this time ...

Halloween has come and gone (unless you live in the American northeast!), and look what it left in our bags: treats!

Scary treats!

For October, Ptrope (that's me!) challenged the forum to Scare Trek, where no sane man has gone before. The dark, dank, macabre side of space - the thrilling, chilling, killing adventures of Scarefleet and the Fangeration.

And like the greatest, scariest movies of all time, all entries had to be in black and white (let that be your last graveyard!)

So, drained of all color, our stalwart artists braved the terrors of TrekArt to deliver their eerie entries on All Hallow's Eve, and it's up to you, denizens of the dark, to cast your votes and crown the new King of the Undrawn, the Count of Crayola, the One Who Will Strike Fear Into The Artists of November ...

... the guy who gets to create the next challenge - you know, the winnah!

So make the next 2 days, Count (??), and don't be scared ... to vote!

I suspect the tribbles in your "novel" are rather like Fizzgig from "The Dark Crystal". All cute and non-descript until their bodies pry open like beartraps revealing edge to edge rows of shark-like teeth!

Hmm, I wonder how many viewers were expecting something like that when "...Tribbles" first aired in '67?

I thought I would never win one of these challenges. So many talented people on here! I actually thought everyone would just snigger at my idea. I almost went with a different idea. Drawing a devilish cat shadow on the wall with a cowering Riker and in the doorway the very small timid Spot with the light behind her

Dang...missed the vote...but enjoyed all the entries...though when Solardeadbaby submitted her entry..it'd be hard to top.

can't wait to see what's up for November! (Hmm...mad eme think, what if the cast sof other shows were in their own Trek show...thinking about the Walking Dead cast, for example)
