Final Medium episode (possible spoilers)

Mistral

Vice Admiral
Admiral
So I watched it and cried my eyes out. Never saw it coming, as I didn't even realize it was the final episode as I watched it.
For some reason, the ending reminded me of Bicentennial Man.
Anyway, the wife and I thought it was the best series ending we'd seen since Journeyman.

Thoughts? Reflections?

I was disappointed. I thought the whole way they handled Joe's death came across as corny instead of tragic. Then the whole episode felt like a waste because most of it was a dream and focused waaaaay too much on the drug dealer.

I also felt the ensemble didn't get enough screentime in the final hour. The 41 year flash was poignant but was only a few minutes long.

Overall I have to say the finale joins the ranks of the all too common unsatisfying series finales tv history is littered with.

Really? I thought if they hadn't had the diversion of the drug dealer's story the main points of the plot would have been revealed too quickly...
