"Filthy Andorians"

In some of the old non-canon material, there seemed to be some hatred between Klingons/Romulans/Orions/Andorians owing to history of being close to one another, and perhaps subjects at one time or another. Maybe the Andorians are closer to the Klingon border than Vulcan or Earth, and have fought wars in the past?

Shran banged Kol's grandmother. It was an Imperial Guard initiation rite. It would explain his purplish skin tone.

(Mr Freeze from Batman.)

If they are more comfortable in sub zero temperatures, "Room temperature (on Earth/Qo'noS)" water probably burns/hurts their flesh... and subzero water is call ice, which is you try to clean yourself with ice, you run the risk of stabbing yourself.

Using a sonic shower (which may not exist this far back in the past) when you are covered in frost and ice, might as well be detonating a fragmentation bomb.

Andorians always came across to me as untrustworthy, say one thing do another type of species, like you never know what they’re actually thinking. I think a lot of the Federation/Andorian relationship was built between Archer and Shran, because they respected each other to an extent... Andorians always seem to have a plan b or a get out clause in any situation. Under hand tatics and are sneaky. Filthy Andorians...

In ENT, the Andorians helped Archer and crew with the Xindi Superweapon while the Vulcans were just sitting around.

Another couple of Andorian shout-outs in the latest episode. They've already gotten more love on Discovery than all the 24th century Trek shows combined. Fine by me!

It's precisely because the Andorians are more warrior-like.

The Andorian counter-curse is, "Trr-shhaahh frr' ohhh'eh'nnn-klzvgitkaat-n'mt," or, "They hate us, 'cause they ain't us." --- DSC Series Bible, Page 11342.

That could explain why Klingons hate them, but why do Humans hate them?

I always wondered what kind of relationship the Andorians had with the Klingons before the Federation was founded. I would have thought there would maybe be a mutual respect between two warrior cultures, but I guess not.
he must hate them for that, because they were a warrior culture that is now part of the peaceful federation

Andorians are essentially the warrior race the Klingons believe themselves to be. Where Andorians try to be honourable, Klingons will just do whatever and say it was honourable.

Cloaked ship hiding in a debris field to pick off rescuers. Honourable. Destroying science ships. Honourable. Having a cloaked fleet that can launch surprise attacks. Honourable. Enslaving populations. Honourable.

Klingons are like medicore MMO PvPers. When they use overpowered BS it's fine and fair. When someone does the same thing to them they start screaming "cheat!"

Klingons are way more honorable than those filthy Andorians, with the one exception of any Klingon named Duras in any century.

I honestly think it's not actually the Klingons really singling out the Andorians but simply because he mentioned three races without throwing in a racist insult and that's poor manners for a Klingon speech. He would have put down any of those guys had the phrasing order been different.

Because Klingons are jackases.

Ice is nearly invisible dirt.

Once they leave the ice fields of home, they are going to have some weird issues with visible dirt.

There's a learning curve.

Well played, Pinkskin. The Imperial Guard honors your post and will carry it into the next battle.

More on that learning curve...

Body odour is brokendown sweat, either from bacteria or heat.

Normally Andorian sweatsicles crystallize, fall to the ground and shatter.

This is less true above 32 degrees F.
