Has anyone had success introducing a dog to a cat when the cat is the psychotic one when it comes to other animals?

Yes. My sister abandoned her psycho kitten at my Mom's. She put our very gentle golden retriever on her bed and brought in the cat. She attacked him ( 4 pound cat vs 120 lb dog). It took weeks of him gently pushing her away before she mellowed out around him. They became the best of friends.
