Helluva goalkeeper!

This 1961 photo is called “The Mob”, and was shot by professional cat photographer Walter Chandoha. Originally a WW II combat photographer, his signature style was filming cats at their eye level. He collected nearly 100,000 cat photographs and it’s pretty cool that someone made a career out of this.

That reminds me of when our first cat, Spooky, caught a grey mouse in our first-floor apartment. She was making all this silly noises, so we went to she was she was doing. She had the mouse trapped against the wall in the hallway. She gently turned the mouse to face towards the living room, and then started to walk away, apparently expecting the mouse to follow her. Of course, the mouse took off the other direction, towards the bedroom. The cat pounced and again very gently turned the mouse around. After the third time, we were able to get the mouse away from her, and released it to the wild over the fence into an open field the far side of the parking lot.

According to wiki he died age 98 in 2019 so lived through the age of the cat on the internet.

Guess his photos would mainly have gone into the books cos with all thouse photos he might have broken the internet.
