What would your Maine Coon have done?
That thing looks like a pure-bred Chihuahua relative of Riley's
He would probably try to get away. If he couldn't, he'd probably pop the dog in the face a few times , without his claws out, and then run to me for help. My previous cat Max, an orange and white tabby, would've clobbered that little dog.
Doggy: "Come on, play with me!"
Maine Coon: "No."
Doggy: "Play with me. Play."
Maine Coon: "Stop bothering me."
Doggy: "Play with me. Play. Play."
Maine Coon: "If you don't stop, I'm gonna smack ya."
Doggy: "Gotta catch me first. Now, come on, play."
Maine Coon: "I'm warning you, I'm gonna chase you down and give you what for."
Doggy: "Yay! Play. Play."
Maine Coon: "Hang on, that would be playing, wouldn't it."
Doggy: "Uh-huh, come on, play."
Maine Coon: "I'm not falling for that. Just go away."
Doggy: "... Play?"
Human: "Boo!"
Doggy: "The fuck was that? Oh, you wanna play?"
Maine Coon: "Oh, thank god."
Me, at the gym. "I'm going to lift these weights and use the treadmill, and...oh fuck, it. Who am I kidding?"
