Can a cat walking harness be reused for anything else? On my third one. The first two, the velcro is bad and the harness is dirty and filled with cat hair. If not, probably time to toss them.

Have you tried soaking it in warm water with dish soap? That might help loosen up the hair so you can remove it from the Velcro.
