So, I just called out to my wife in the other room to ask her to "Come here, I want to show you something." She said she couldn't. I said "Let me guess, you have a cat." She said No. I got up and walked in to see why she couldn't come to my room. Right, she did not have a cat. That is to say, she didn't have A cat. She had all three: one in her lap, one on her chest & shoulder, and the third on the back of the chair with his head and paws on her other shoulder.

Have a chair that the cat's been scratching for years. You can still sit in it just fine, but the upholstery fabric is beyond salvageable. I assume it could cost too much for a 100% reupholster. Are there any places that would take the chair in such a condition?

If you're not trying to get some money for it, you might put it next to wherever you normally out trash to get picked up and put a 'free' sign on it. Some people drive around looking for items like that to fix up.
