Reminds me of when my son's best friend was killed in a car crash. Later that day, my little black cat, Chloe, was walking through the family room. She stopped, looked up, (at nothing that I could see), hissed, and moved on.
I have the door open between my cats most of the time now, but there's one problem.
Morgana has a favorite sleeping place, a cat tower in my TV room. When I'm down there watching TV and Hilde sees me petting him, sometimes she will try to jump up and just push him out of it.
If that happens, they will fight continuously until I separate them again.

I'm sitting on the clean laundry fresh out of the dryer. My kitty bum is nice and toasty.
My butt smells like" Bounce."
