Help! We had to start brushing our cat's teeth. She is 14 and saying she hates it is an understatement! We got a cat tooth brush and paste at a pet store. It has a brush and finger brush. So far I tried the finger brush. It is hard to get her to open her mouth, we tried a treat and we tried having her lick the paste (she doesn't like it much). I do the brushing (sort of) and my husband holds her in a towel. But I am wondering if there is a better/ easier way? I doubt she will ever enjoy it. Anyone brush their cats teeth? Any ideas on what we can try? Thanks for listening...

I brushed my male's teeth every day for years. CET poultry flavored toothpaste plus a small cat toothbrush. I basically sat on him to do the job.
