He's a gigantic Bombay. I used to wonder if maybe he was part-panther but apart from that being probably impossible, he's too lazy and too domestic. When he was first adopted we thought he was fully grown only to find later he was just a few weeks old and had a lot of growing left. He has been on a vet ordered diet, though, this year which he did not like at all but has gotten used to.
I've never heard of that breed before. He's gorgeous!

My sister's Siamese cat caught a bee and carried it into the bathroom where my brother-in-law was shaving, and dropped it on his foot. He told me, "I nearly cut my throat!"
My Lily is sick. She hasn't been eating, has lost weight, and is lethargic. The vet gave her fluids yesterday and did tests. We gave her appetite stimulant last night, but she still hasn't eaten. I'm really worried. Good thoughts appreciated.
I'm sorry that the appetite stimulant didn't work. I hope it'll just take a little more time. My cat Charlie was sick recently. She was eating okay but seemed constipated and her back legs were getting weaker. Turned out she had a urinary tract infection. She's doing better now.My Lily is sick. When Charlie ha s appetite problems it's usually because of a hairball. I hope it's something simple like that for Lily.

Was just watching this video of a cat getting bathed and groomed---why people do this is beyond me. Cats bathe and groom themselves. The cat in this one looks a lot my Junior. I can't even imagine trying to bathe him.
Lily is staying at the hospital, at least tonight, as they try to get some food and fluids in her. We managed to get her an ultrasound today, which ruled out cancer and pancreatitis. It looks like Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Once they get her stable, she can come home and we can treat her here.
