I'm not sure what else to do here. I really don't want to issue an infraction for this, but something must be done... this is stealing bandwidth. So, I've given this some thought, and the next time you hotlink an image from anyplace that is not an image hosting service, whether it be Discord, Reddit, or whatever, I will issue you a thread reply ban. This will apply to any image post in Miscellaneous, since I honestly feel I have issued enough friendlies in this case. No more warnings.

I'm really sorry, @SPCTRE , but I don't know how else to curb this. As per the quoted text above, I'm giving you a one-week reply ban for this thread. Hopefully we will not see a recurrence of this afterwards. Comments to PM.

Yes, gfycat (and other similar services, such as Giphy, Tenor, etc.) are hosting services. Their raison d'être is to allow users to upload gifs onto the service, and then share/embed them on other sites. As such, hotlinking to them is perfectly acceptable within our rules.
