One of the most common questions I get from strangers is, "Cat or dog?" while nodding at my shirt.
"What's that? Something isn't right here. Wait, that's not your phone, that's the man's phone. Why are you holding the man's phone? What's going on? Where is your own phone? Combed all 3 kitties and have to clip claws today too. Hootie is getting his spring cut and I can’t wait. SO MUCH FUZZ. Will eventually post a pic but he tends to be be grumpy and shy just after his spring cut. He meows plaintively for a couple days as if to chastise me. Why? Why? You monster! Why?
Willow made a huge leap this morning concerning brushes! I started brushing her back with my Furminator and she accepted it for a couple of minutes. Then she decided she needed to attack it. I let her sniff it and rub her cheeks on it, then I tried it in the back of her neck. She seemed to love it! Then she needed to sniff it again and after that, I tried the top of her head...after a few strokes, she closed her eyes, relaxed, and even started purring! Woohoo!

I always smile when I see that product name. Because in the mid 90s when I regularly attended Dragon*Con in Atlanta, that was the name I used for the cyberpunk felinoid costume and makeup depicted in my avatar. Looks like someone finally got clever and marketed the nonsense word.
Hootie (black cat) scratched Arya (white cat) in the eye which required a trip to the vet. He scratched her inner eyelid which the vet was explaining to me. I asked him "Nictitating membrane?" He seemed surprised I knew what that was- I didn't tell him I knew of them because of Mr. Spock lol.
