Yep. I had the startling realization that he could still very well be around when I turn 50! I grew up with cats, more than a dozen in my first 18 years (we had up to 5 at a time). Most lived to late teens and a couple up to 20!What AuntieHill said. At just 2, he should be amusing (and exasperating) you for a good 15 (and hopefully more) years.
You look a proud parent in that last shot. Congrats!
After 2.5 years of having her in our home, the other week our female cat finally deigned to accept my existence. She sat on me and let me brush her.
Seems Rune gives good brush. Whenever I walk into their room (yes, the cats have co-opted my "boys room") she jumps up onto the chair the Zoom-Groom is kept and meows.

I was struggling to come up with a name that suited him all day, and just happened to be listening to the Proclaimers, which made me think of Scotland, and that made me think of Glasgow, and it just suits him so well!@thestrangequark - congratulations on your new arrival. If you don't mind my asking, what made you choose the name Glasgow?
