Feline Follies

Guys GUYS! I just adopted a kitty this weekend and she is the most precious sweet adorable kitty on the planet!!! :D She's a bit older (7), but she is a bundle of cuteness and warmth! They named her Josie as the ASPCA so I just kept it the same name. Gonna spam you guys with pics!

Oh, so CUTE! Congrats, Mom, on your new furry baby. She has such big, beautiful eyes!

I know I love her eyes! They are so big and green and have a girly look to them.

Omg, I didn't want to leave her today! :D

They told me she has a weight problem (LOL) so I had to buy her all special diet food.

I don't think I've ever encountered a pet that didn't have a "weight problem." I'm beginning to think it's just something vets are trained to say to everyone.

That cat looks fine.

Yeah. She IS pudgy for her frame though. So when she lays down she makes a thump noise and she has trouble reaching some areas to clean herself. But she's fine. I love her chub. :D

The last time I tried to change my cat's food, she got angry and started peeing all over my stuff. I'm terrified for the day that she gets old and needs to switch to something else.

Awwww! My kitty is older and I thought of buying the senior food but she seems to like the one I bought for the time being.

Junior's pretty pudgy but he's a big boy to begin with. He's strictly indoors and is much more of a cuddler than a player, so he doesn't get much exercise. The problem is, he howls for food all day long and I will eventually give in and give him snacks, so putting him on a diet never really happens.

Six months next week, at least with the birthday I gave the vet.

He's a barn cat orphan, his mom got run over by a tractor and left six kittens, I took one of them. He was the poster boy in the local paper for the adoption (after I got stuck with the cute little ahole). I think his bros and sisses all got adopted as well.

He is due to be snipped next week. Mwahahah.

Check out the size of this monster.

We had a shop cat in a store I worked at many years ago, an "Egyptian Tiger". He looked just like this one. Sisko was 25 lbs. at his prime with absolutely no fat, but he was nowhere near as large as Pickles.

Captain Kathryn, your Josie is beautiful!

auntiehill, mine love suitcases, too. I've transported cat hair to multiple countries by now. ;) Also -- OT -- your blue and white quilt is very pretty.
