Couldn't figure out where the pee smell was coming from, but it smelled like the cat peed somewhere. Turns out he peed in one of his many cat beds. What's the best way to clean it? It's a 2-in-1 bed, so it's a regular bed that also pops up into a cave bed, so basically double the surface area.
Didn't have Era. I hand washed it but then my hands smelled like cat pee for the rest of the night. Soaked it overnight in baking soda water, then put it in the washer. As far as I can tell it doesn't smell anymore but one trip through the washer sure affected the appearance of the bed. Oh well.
