I saw a pair of robins attack a squirrel once. The squirrel was minding its own business searching for food in the middle of the yard when the first robin came in at full speed three feet off the ground and hit the squire from behind. The squirrel tried to run, but the second robin attacked it. They kept buzzing it over and over for five minute. It got to a tree and was halfway up when the birds knocked it to the ground. The poor thing went under a car, and the birds landed on either side of the car. They kept it there for a good twenty minutes until they finally gave up and flew off. No idea what set them off, but I'd bet they would have killed the squirrel if they could have.
Mockingbirds are the worst. I saw one riding a cat like a cowboy, feet and beak deep in the cat’s hide and flogging it with both wings before the cat flipped free. My Dad loved bluebirds, but every birdhouse he made wound up infested by either them, starlings or something else.

Yes, birds used to dive bomb my cat, Rusty, when he was in the backyard. He would roll over on his back, with his paws at the ready. "Come on! Try it again, I dare ya!"

Heat Wave coming again. My poor cat. We don't have AC, so lots of ice cool wash clothes for her and us! Not looking forward to this again...We used to never get them, well once in a blue moon but now it is every year, it seems!
Nope Just a giant fuzzball.
