Hi all...long time no see! I've been super busy with grad school, new job new life direction, and have been meaning to pop by. I didn't intend to wait for such crummy, humbling circumstances. I know a few BBSers donated to the GoFundMe to cover my cat Glasgow's emergency surgery, and since a lot of donations were anonymous, I want to throw a big, deeply sincere THANK YOU out here, and in a few other threads I've frequented. He's over halfway to his goal and I probably wouldn't have done so well without you all (linky in the sig if you want to help out or just look at cute, drugged up kitty)!

Anyway, he's recovering. I'm getting there. And I'll try to visit more often and under better circumstances!

I'd trim that cone down a little, just enough that he can eat and drink from a bowl but still not be able to damage his stitches.

We ended up just putting a baby t shirt on Zak.

I'm a bit wistful Finnegan has been trying to get out. He just rolls around on the porch, but still. Sue considered taking him for a drag, so she got out Zak's old harness. Now Zak was a big boi, 16 pounds healthy weight. Things we got for him were labeled "dog". Sue put that harness on Finnegan...and it fit.

And yes, he flopped over with the whole "My legs don't work" thing.
