"Stop it, I'm ticklish. I said, stop it. Stop it, or I'll fucking scratch your eyes out!" - Well, that escalated quickly."

My cat was purring loudly and I tried to record it on my phone and... nothing. Apparently it wasn't at a frequency the mic can capture.
KFC has become very popular in Japan. Shoot southern (US) fried chicken was the subject of an episode of "Food Wars", an anime comedic drama (or maybe a dramatic comedy) set in a prestigious culinary academy with "confrontations" inspired by shows like "Iron Chef". Sorry, that veered off the topic of cats. Bringing it back, the pets' owner in a another video was nomming on some monstrously huge crab (possibly Alaskan King)...for breakfast! Yeah, she teased the wads of fur and fangs in that one, too, though I think she kept the crab all to herself. Is crab (and possibly other shellfish) dangerous for cats?
I managed to get a short clip this morning on my new phone. I increased the volume so the purring really stands out.
A friend had an extremely large Russian blue about 30 years ago. The cat had mild asthma, and he would purr with his mouth open. That was some loud purring. More like snoring actually.
Years from now, my relatives will ask, "What do you remember about the pandemic of 2020?" and all I'll be able to tell them is, "I watched a lot of cute animal videos." Like this one.
How is your cat dealing with you being home all of the time? Ours is confused! She has to share her room with my husband's "stay at home office space". She does not like to share.
Ours seem very pleased by it all. Even the shy one follows us around for snuggles. We’ve noticed they time-share different rooms. I’ve read that’s a thing and we are getting a feel for their arrangement.
