Favourite writer/artist teams in comics

There have been a lot of great writer-artist partnerships in comics where the two compliment each other perfectly, and the end result can often be more than the sum of its parts. Here are some of my personal favourite teams:

Alan Grant and Norm Breyfogle on Detective Comics, Batman, and early issues of "Shadow of the Bat" in the late 80s/early 90s. Still the greatest run on the character there has ever been.

Peter Milligan and Brendan McCarthy on Paradax, Skin and Rogan Gosh.

Peter Milligan and Duncan Fedrego on Enigma, Girl and various Vertigo one-shots.

Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely on We3, All-Star Superman and Flex Mentallo (which I presume is great, based on what I've seen).

And finally, a shout out to Frank Miller and David Mazzuchelli for Batman: Year One and Daredevil - they didn't produce a lot together, but what they did produce was fantastic.

Anyone here have anything to add or dispute?

Marv Wolfman and Gene Colan on TOMB OF DRACULA.

And, of course, Chris Claremont and John Byrne on X-MEN, MARVEL TEAM-UP, and STAR LORD.

Morrison & Quitely: We3, All-Star Superman, The Invisibles

Straczynski & Frank: Midnight Nation, Supreme Power

Bendis & Maleev: Daredevil, Spider-Man, New Avengers: Illuminati, Sam & Twitch, New Avengers, Civil War: The Confession, Secret Invasion: Dark Reign

Ellis & Ryp: Black Summer, No Hero

Ellis & Jimenez: Planetary/Authority - Ruling the World, Astonishing X-Men

Busiek & Perez: Avengers, JLA/Avengers

Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips have produced a number of excellent comics this decade, most notably the two volumes of Sleeper. I don't think Criminal and Incognito are quite as good, but still great.

-John Ostrander & Jan Duursema on Star Wars: Legacy

-Mark Millar & John Romita Jr. on Kick-Ass

-Ron Marz & Stjepan Sejic on Witchblade

-Tony Bedard & Paul Pelletier on Negation

-Jay Faerber & Terry & Rachel Dodson on Generation X

Brian Vaughn and Tony Harris on Ex Machina
Joss Wheedon and John Cassady on Astonishing X-Men
JMS and Gary Frank on Squadron Supreme/Supreme Power
Claremont, Byrne and Austin on Uncanny X-Men

What about Curt Swan? Not sure who I would pair him with.
