Favourite Starship Set

Following on from the Favourite Starship class, i thought it might be interesting to get some opinion on what people believe to be the the best actual sets featured on Starships.

Mine would have to be
Voyagers Bridge
Voy Engineering
Ent-E Bridge
Ent-D Stellar Catography
Ent-D Bridge (Movie version)

Countless others, too many too choose...

I'd have to say the Enterprise-D bridge in Generations and the Enterprise-E bridge in Nemesis. Sleek, cool, and functional.

1. Enterprise main bridge, TWOK
2. Enterprise-D Engineering
3. Enterprise photon torpedo launcher, TWOK
4. Klingon BoP bridge
5. Romulan Warbird bridge, DS9 "The Die Is Cast"

If we're including space stations, then it's got to be the Promenade. Two levels, Quark's Bar, the infirmary, the replimat, the security office, the temple, and more. You just don't get that sort of scale in a regular tv series. And they some clever camera tricks to make the set look even more expansive than it already was.

The bridge of the Defiant.

Stella cartography in GEN was an excellent set also.

I thought the sickbay on NX-01 turned out really well. I also liked the bridges of Prometheus and Voyager.

So many to choose from. Listed in no particular order.

OPS on Deep Space Nine
The Promenade on Deep Space Nine
Defiant Bridge
Enterprise-E Bridge
Enterprise-E Observation Lounge (Pre-Nemesis)
Enterprise-D Bridge (Generations)
Enterprise-D Ten Forward
1701-Refit Engineering
Voyager Sickbay
Voyager Engineering
Voyager Captain's Ready Room
Voyager Transporter Room

NCC-1701's bridge from the original series -- although it, like all Trek sets, is probably nowhere near what a "real" starship command center might look like.

All the sets from Enterprise (NX-01) were excellent as was the bridge of the original enterprise and the enterprise-d in generations.

The Enterprise-E bridge might be excellent if I even knew where all the stations were.

klingon battlecruiser bridge, TMP. All style, little function, but got the message across.

As far as Fed stuff ... I'd say, nothing is all that great. TOS bridge and TOS engineering are fun, the TFF bridge is good, but nothing is ... over the top great, like what we might have gotten if Ron Cobb had designed for Trek.

Probably "Sara, Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now, We Built This City, Find Your Way Back, It's Not Enough," and "Jane" should make up for it.

Damn Starship sets! Do they use the "Airplane" stuff or not?!? Hard to judge. Gotta go...you know, one pill makes me larger and one pill makes me small. :p And the ones that mother gives don't do anything at alll!

Jefferies and Guzman's 1701 bridge and Probert and Zimmerman's (and later, Eaves') 1701D bridges are the reflexive choices for me.

nothing is ... over the top great, like what we might have gotten if Ron Cobb had designed for Trek.

Oh, if only. I'd love to see what a Ron Cobb designed Phase II would have looked like. Never been a big fan of Minor's contributions. Hell, I'd love to see what Andy Probert would have done with the bridge if he'd been onboard from the beginning.
