Favourite SG-A episode from each season (not part of a 2 or 3 parter)

I'm not sure if this has ever been a topic, but from each of the 5 seasons, which has been your favourite stand alone episode. It may be an episode that concludes a story arc (such as The Prodigal - it ended the Michael arc) or it may be just a regular episode (such as Sunday). Episodes that were originally aired as a 2-hour episode but were later split are acceptable (such as Rising) but 2-parters are not (such as The Lost Boys and The Hive)

Mine:

S1: Home (because of Hammond's only appearance)
S2: Critical Mass
S3: Sunday
S4: Midway (because of Teal'C and Ronon)
S5: Enemy at the Gate

S1: Before I Sleep (a great time travel story, a rarity in SG)
S2: Inferno (because of the cool volcano stuff)
S3: The Real World (bleh, hard to choose, no standout episode)
S4: Be All My Sins Remembered (best space battle of SG yet)
S5: Vegas (at least they tried something different - too bad they waited until the penultimate episode)

Definitely agree with Critical Mass, though I want to wipe the floor with Kavanaugh every time I see him.

I loved "The Shrine". I think David Hewlett gives his best performance of the series in that episode.

^^Indeed, Atlantis is often an unfairly criticized show. Seasons 3 and 4 aren't exactly the best thing on television, but the resto of the series is decent television and quite entertaining.

I got to disagree, not to be contrarian but you said it was better than it will be remember for, yet you didn't list any episodes other than The Shrine, which I personally thought it had tons of problems, from Hewlett's acting not being great, but just good. And the fact that our intrepid heroes treated the Pegasus locals, people who they've included in their expedition because of their local expertise, as superstitious nuts, and of course, way too much Keller.

But as I was compiling the list, I went through the episode list and it was harder than I thought to come up with choices, especially season 3 which I had remembered being better than it actually was. But to be fair, my favorite episodes were finales, cliffhangers and premieres, which were removed from the OP's parameters. If I could include them here's my list of favorites:
